LL Bean Retail Store, Freeport, MaineI just came back from a rushed road trip. I drove Mom down to New Brunswick. On my way back I came home through the States so that I could do some shopping and shopping I did. These are some photos of my stops along the way. Old Orchard Beach is a booming seaside town but is all but closed down. I saw 2 people coming up the beach. All the shops are closed for the season. It was still beautiful. The ocean always seems to call my name, even if it is out of my way. I did some "outlet" shopping in Freeport, Maine. What a lovely little town. I had been there before but don't remember much. I can't wait until I can do this road trip again, only next time I'll have company since Kim retires in 39 days! (Yikes!!!!!)

The beach looks nippy! You had better weather than we did - we had rain 7 days of 9, argh!! What did you buy at LL Bean? We didn't get to the PA store - I was shopped out and just wanted to get my butt home, lol. (My "word verification" word is ... fator ... is that a HINT OR WHAT!!! LOL!!)
